Make four BIG Eco-Soya Pillar Candles with this easy to use kit

This is probably the easiest of all our moulded candles to make and one of the most satisfying. Perfect for you to create your own candles, perfect as a gift.

With this kit, you can make 4 pillar candles, each of which stands 10cm (4 inches) high and 6cm (2.5 inches) across the base. They are perfect as a centrepiece for your dinner table or mantelpiece or as a gorgeous way to spread one of the lovely optional scents around the house. And they burn for HOURS!

This kit is based on our Eco-Soya Wax which, as the name suggests, is wax made from soya beans. This is considered by many a better choice for the environment but the main benefit is that it makes a harder candle which burns longer than a paraffin candle of equivalent size. We have tested these and they burn for at least 40 hours each. We have extensively tested wicks and have found the perfect fit for this mould and wax combination. The mould is hard-wearing and reusable so you can make more candles by buying one of our economically priced refill kits.

The kit contains:

• Long life plastic mould - (similar model on sale in HobbyCraft at £14.99)
• 900g (almost 2lbs!) EcoSoya Pillar Blend wax (this would cost at least £12.49 on its own to buy from HobbyCraft)
• 1metre (3 feet+) Eco Wick
• Metal Wick Pin
• Mould sealer
• Full illustrated instructions

In its standard form this kit makes white, unscented pillar candles as shown in the photo. If you'd like a red candle, for example, simply add the appropriate dye using the options box above - you can also create room-scenters by choosing a scent oil.
