How soon can I expect to receive my order?

There are two factors in this, firstly how quickly we process your order and secondly how long the post or courier service takes to deliver it to your address.

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, we aim to despatch all orders within two working days. We will keep you fully up to date with your order's progress by email.

We offer both Economy and Express delivery. 

Economy

Small orders (under 1KG) are shipped by Royal Mail Second Class post and all others by courier. Both methods take between three and five working days after despatch. If you are likely to be out when the delivery arrives, please leave a comment saying where the package can be left on your premises (eg "behind the  garden gate"). This only applies to orders over 1KG in weight.

Express

Orders up to 2KG in weight are sent by Royal Mail First Class post. Orders over 2KG are sent by next day courier. In both cases, orders should arrive on the day after despatch.

You can get in touch with us about your order in a number of ways:

• using the contact form on the "Contact Us" page
• by logging into your account by clicking "Sign in" and clicking "View Message". If your query is specifically about an order, this is the best way as it tells us which order it relates to
• by emailing peta@makingyourowncandles.co.uk

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly so that we can make a claim against the carriers. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund.

Free Delivery

Where we offer Free Delivery on a product, this will be by Economy carrier and applies to that product only unless otherwise stated. In other words, if you order other products in the same order they will attract their usual delivery charge
