Product Description

Make 20 votive-sized room scenter candles with a burn time of around 15 hours with this easy to use kit. These candles are ideal for sale at craft fayres, fetes, online and in shops. They also make perfect gifts or, for the candle obsessed, the kit is the cheapest way to fill your house with scent and candlelight!

Yankee Candles calls these "samplers" and you may have seen them in your local emporium, usually at prices of betwen £2.50 and £3.50 per candle. This kit contains everything you need (except basic kitchen equipment) to make 20 of your own samplers at a fraction of the cost. Choose one of our low cost refills and further batches are even cheaper.

The kit is easy to use and you'll quickly achieve consistent, professional results using our unique candle making system.

The kit contains:

  • 900g paraffin wax - a blend created specifically for votive/sampler candles
  • 100g beeswax - our secret ingredient which hardens the candle making it burn for longer
  • 3m wick
  • 20 self-centering tabs
  • 4 metal moulds - make four candles at a time!
  • 4 wick holders - our own unique design
  • stirrer
  • 2 x 5g candle making dye
  • 2 x 30ml candle scent
  • pipette
  • fully illustrated, easy to follow, instructions

IMPORTANT: This kit is supplied in a plain brown box rather than retail packaging as it's intended for use in the production of candles

Candles home made seem much better than shop bought ones, when you have the right materials, which i have purchased this week, so easy to do,good delivery time as well, thanks.

  2. Easy and fun

I am a complete novice at candle making, but this kit is fab and I have been producing some really great candles, it is just so easy and straightforward, and far more satisfying than just buying candles. Highly recommended.

  3. Not for absolute beginners, but nice quality pack.

Nicely packaged with clear instructions, however I'd recommend using a thermometer as the second pour will be obvious once the candles are turned-out, unless you pour the wax at a higher temperature than your first pour. This is not stated in the instructions.
Pro's will know this, but beginners will not.
Besides this, the wax comes in bead form which makes it easy to measure/weigh.
I didn't have much luck with the self-centering tabs as they poked out the side of my finished candle. I'll be using normal tabs henceforth.
