top10.pngSimply the easiest introduction to candle making, our Beeswax Candlemaking Kit contains 10 large* sheets of beeswax, bee pins, ribbon and instructions. This kit enables you to make between 10 and 20 candles in at least three different types without requiring any heat. This means that the kit is also ideal for use by/with children as the ideal creative craft activity. It produces pleasing results relatively easily and the candles you create make ideal gifts.

With this kit, you can make three variations, all of them are 12.5cm in height (5 inches)

1) Pillar Candle

With this variation, you end up with a solid pilar candle which you can decorate with the included bee pins and ribbon to make an ideal decorative candle that produces a sweet, natural scent. As it burns, the wick's flame can be seen through the semi-translucent walls of the candle.

2) Spiral Candle

This variation is shorter and you can make two out of one sheet of beeswax. It's made by simply cutting the sheet diagonally. A lovely decorative item.

3) Flower Petal Candle

This is a variation of the spiral in which you make small cuts in the diagonal side before rolling the candle.

The kit contains:

  • 10 sheets of beeswax measuring 34cm (13 7/16") by 13cm (5") (our competitors' products contain only 5 sheets, each of which is half the size of ours). This is enough to make between 10 and 20 candles (depending on which combination of variations you choose)
  • Plenty of wick
  • Ribbon
  • 5 x Bee Pins - these pins can be used to decorate some of your candles just make sure they're removed before you light them!

* Important Note: you can buy other beeswax candle kits from retailers however our kit contains twice as many beeswax sheets that are twice the size of those in the retail kits meaning you can make four times as many candles with our kits. Our kits also contain bee pins and ribbon so that you can decorate your candles whereas the kits of our competitors contain only beeswax sheets and wick.

    I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my parcel to find the product wrapped in pink tissue paper. I thought that was a very nice touch. Product is as described, very easy to use and no mess.

    I brought this kit and made 6 candles for friends as christmas presents,which i gave them today. They loved them. This kit was really easy to use and anyone making candles for the first time should give these ago.Highly recommended

    We had a great time making the beeswax candles - all the children made one to sell at our xmas fair and were so excited.
    They turned out brilliantly and were perfect for little hands.
    We added xmas pins and ribbon and made our own bases.

    Having made container candles some time ago, I was keen to try a different style of candle. The kit arrived promptly and was beautifully packaged;a joy to open. I had a lot of fun making these candles and everyone who has seen them has said how gorgeous they look. My young son loves the bee pins!
